Everton defender Sylvain Distin has said that he is extremely sorry for the back pass, which was the cause for the late goal by Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final between the two clubs recently.
Sylvain Distin has already won the FA Cup with Portsmouth in 2008.
He had the chance to help David Moyes celebrates his 10 years at Everton by lifting the FA Cup this season, but a catastrophic error by the Frenchman led to Liverpool scoring the goal in the dying minutes of the game, which eventually proved to be the winner.
