English Premier League side Everton FC have officially confirmed the news flying around that they had poached the head of players’ recruitment from current title holders, Leicester City.
Leicester lost yet another prominent personality that led to their success in the last campaign. Steve Walsh was largely responsible for getting Riyad Mahrez, N’Golo Kante and Jamie Vardy at decent transfer fee and they went on to bring glory to the club.
The Goodison Park are reported to have improved on the compensation Walsh receives at Leicester City. He becomes the first director of football at Everton and has started work immediately. He was pictured with the coach Ronald Koeman discussing transfers before his arrival.
