Roberto Martinez feels there is no need to have any Change in current Team
With the January transfer window right on the horizon, certain managers are getting ready to make a huge splash in the transfer market in order to upgrade their teams but Everton’s Roberto Martinez is not one of them as the Spanish manager believes that his squad is already good enough and it can deal with the 2nd half of the season of the Premier League.
In the previous campaign of the English League, Everton managed to secure a spot in the top 5 positions of the Premier League but things haven’t been going exactly as planned in this season as they are located in the middle section of the League but despite their fairly low position, Martinez believes that his team is good enough for the challenges that awaits them.
Roberto Martinez told the media: “We will always work hard to try to see what we can do but it is not a priority in this window. The priority was to make sure the summer window was exactly what we wanted and we achieved that’’
“I am very pleased with the squad, it is strong and good in numbers and I don’t expect any major changes in January. I am delighted because I measure the day-to-day work, what we have in the squad and the potential that I can see for the second half of the season.”
James McCarthy, Darron Gibson, Leon Osman, John Stones and ArounaKone are some of the players in the team of Roberto Martinez that have been affected by injuries but they are approaching the final stages of recovery and should be available to play within the next few weeks or even days.
With many players coming back from their respective injuries, this is excellent news for Roberto Martinez as he believes that the club doesn’t need to spend much in the January transfer window and should still be able to keep up with the rest of the clubs in the Premier League in terms of having a talented squad.
