EVERTON QUINTET OUT OF PALACE GAME

Team:

Everton boss Frank Lampard would be without five of his players when Crystal Palace visit Goodison Park in the Premier League onThursday night. The two teams will meet in a rescheduled league encounter with different objectives. Everton are keen to pick up three points to secure Premier League safety, while South Londoners Crystal Palace are eyeing a top-ten finish at the end of the season.

For the Palace game at home, Lampard would be without the suspended duo of JarradBranthwaite and Salomon Rondon plus three others. Both Branthwaite and Rondon will miss the game after they were sent off during the last league game at home to another London team inBrentford at the weekend.

Young centre back Branthwaite was sent off for a professional foul on Brentford striker Ivan Toney and will miss just one game as a result meaning that he's in line to return for the final league game of the season at Arsenal. For Rondon, the Venezuelan striker came on as a second half substitute during the Brentford game before being sent off for a poor challenge on left-back Rico Henry.
Apart from Rondon and Branthwaite, the likes of Yerry Mina, Andros Townsend and Nathan Paterson won’tbe available for Everton as well ahead of the Palace game. Mina, Branthwaite and Paterson will miss the game due to injury. Winger Townsend will not play again this season as he's recovering from a serious knee injury, while Colombian international defender Mina is on course to make a return for the away game against Arsenal as he's presently recovering from a thigh injury. Just like Townsend, Paterson won’t play again this season and this is because of an ankle injury.
It remains to be seen if experienced player Fabian Delph would be fit for the Palace and Arsenal games after a muscle injury forced him to miss the 3-2 home defeat to Brentford on Sunday. On Ben Godfrey, Everton boss Frank Lampard told reporters that he would be in the squad for the Palace game at least.
