NEVILLE CHOOSES COACHING

Everton captain and versatile midfielder Phil Neville has become a coach at the England under 21 level, thus forming the basis and foundation for his future career in management.

The 35-year-old is coming to the end of his career in football as a player.

However, he is keen to extend his life football after it was unveiled today that Phil Neville has become a coach at the England under 21 level. The current England under 21 level manager Stuart Pearce has been put in charge of the senior squad after the resignation of Fabio Capello. Hence, it is expected to provide some level with great opportunities to put his authority at this budding stage of his managerial career.

It is highly unlikely that Stuart Pearce will be involved as a backup staff for the match against Belgium next week.

Due to his absence, Phil Neville is expected to take a major role for this match. The England senior squad will be taking on Holland, while the under 21 team will be facing Belgium. The team will be facing Belgium in the Middlesbrough's Riverside stadium next week. Phil Neville has been invited for coaching the team, an invitation to which the Everton captain has duly obliged.

Phil Neville's brother Gary Neville has become a pundit for sky sports and it is very unlikely that he will become a manager in the future. The same, though, does not seem to play for Phil Neville, as he has always been very much interested in management. If he does become a manager in the future, then he would join the long list of former Manchester United players who have become managers after getting their training under Sir Alex Ferguson. The likes of Steve Bruce and Mark Hughes have all gone on to become successful managers after Sir Alex Ferguson's impact.
