Marco Silva Rules OutMoise Kean Exit in January

Moise Kean has had a difficult start to life in the Premier League since making the £29 million switch from Juventus. The Italian international made the transfer only in the summer but he has only featured in two league games for Everton. There have been two more appearances for the Merseyside club and they have come in the League Cup. However, the striker was on target for the Italy under 21 team during a recent international break. This led to claims from Roberto Mancini, who is the national team coach of Italy, that the striker should seek a move away from Everton.

Everton boss Marco Silva, though, has ruled out the possibility of lettingKean leave the club in January even if it is on a temporary basis. Silva admitted that it will be very difficult forKean to make an impact straight away in the Premier League considering the vast differences between Italian Serie A and the English top division.Keandoes not have a great deal of experience at this young age. The lack of experience was clearly visible when the striker was dropped in the game against Southampton for missing a team meeting prior to the game.Kean’s last start came in the 2-0 win against West Ham and he has been seen in the Premier League since then.

No. Definitely not. It doesn’t make sense for us. The situation with Moise Kean is the same as when we signed him. Nothing has changed.Even if he was coming from a high level. The time so far has proved all of that. We won’t allow him to go. They are just rumours,” said Silva when asked about a potential exit for the striker in January. Everton have had a huge trouble scoring goals with the team registering only 13 goals in as many games this season.
